Tustin, CA and Dallas, TX - October 14, 2004 - ExaDigm, the leading innovator of wireless and wired point-of-sale (POS) terminal solutions, and Paymentech, one of the leading U.S. processors of electronic payments, announce that ExaDigm's Mate Plus terminal has received Class B certification from Paymentech.
The Mate Plus is the only Internet Protocol (IP) point-of-sale solution in the industry that combines true wireless capabilities through cellular, Wi-Fi, and satellite with IP transaction processing. The outcome is a POS terminal that can be utilized anywhere yet is able to take advantage of the speed, security and cost-effectiveness of the Internet.
