SANTA ANA, CA - April 10, 2004 - ExaDigm, leading the payment processing industry in innovative, next-generation point-of-sale (POS) solutions, announced today the widespread availability of its modular-connectivity POS terminal, the Mate Plus. The Mate Plus terminal is successfully being used in locations around the world including Canada, India, Japan, Latin America, the Middle East, and the United States. With the ability to connect to a variety of communication options, ExaDigm is allowing merchants to change the way they accept and process payments.
ExaDigm's Mate Plus terminal offers PC-like ease of use coupled with an open-architecture Linux operating system, creating unparalleled flexibility for software changes and updates. With the simple change of a modem, the Mate Plus gives merchants the ability to switch among Wi-Fi, IP, cellular, Ethernet, dial and host-based USB connections using the same terminal. The wireless flexibility available through the Mate Plus allows connectivity to all communication choices including 802.11b, CDMA and GSM through the leading cellular phone networks.
