ExaDigm Names Michael Mulcahy as New Chief
Executive Officer
Former President & COO is 14-Year Veteran of Electronic Payment Industry |

SANTA ANA, CA - May 87, 2007 - ExaDigm, Inc, the leading innovator of wireless and wired point-of-sale (POS) terminal solutions, today announced the promotion of Michael (Mike) Mulcahy to the position of Chief Executive Officer. Mulcahy assumes this new role after serving the company since 2003 as President and Chief Operating Officer.
"Mike's appointment as ExaDigm's new CEO is testament to his outstanding abilities as a leader and visionary, whose knowledge and understanding of our industry is key to the company's continued future success," said Dean Cha, Founder of ExaDigm. "For the past five years, Mike has been instrumental in shaping and growing ExaDigm into the great company it has become, and was the logical choice to lead the company through its next phase of growth and development."
Prior to joining ExaDigm, Mike served as a senior executive for a range of companies in the payments industry, achieving great success for such notable industry leaders as Panasonic, where he was responsible for increasing sales for its Point-Of-Sale System Division from $14 million to $60 million in just three years and bringing the division to profitability in less than four years. At California Retail Data Systems, a leading distributor of advanced electronic cash register (ECR) systems listed in Inc. Magazine's "Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies" three years in a row, Mike grew the company from $300,000 to $16 million in four years.
Mike has also held senior management roles with MIST, Inc., a leading provider of wireless and Internet transaction-enabling solutions and smart card issuance technologies; GEAC, a leader in restaurant enterprise point-of-sale solutions; and Mellon Bank's Merchant Services Division.
Mike attended North Adams State College in Massachusetts. In addition to his role at ExaDigm, Mike serves on the education committee of the Electronic Transactions Association.
