ExaDigm Launches the PCI Approved XD2100SP Mobile

SANTA ANA, CA - January 9, 2007 - ExaDigm, Inc, the leading innovator of wireless and wired point-of-sale (POS) terminal solutions, today announced the launch of the PCI-approved XD2100SP, its next generation, PC-based, mobile point-of-sale terminal. Part of the XD2000 line of payment terminals, the XD2100SP meets the requirements of the Payment Card Industry (PCI) PIN Entry Device (PED) standard established by Visa International and MasterCard International to ensure that PIN-based payment transactions meet the highest level of security.
The XD2100SP features the same renowned fully modular design and PC-based Linux operating system as the XD2000, continuing ExaDigm's philosophy of a one technology approach delivering a single terminal platform offering multiple connectivity options, easy software upgrades, and simple configuration to adapt to new technologies. In addition to the new advanced PCI approved PED, the XD2100SP features a range of key enhancements including an Ethernet port built directly into the terminal providing a dedicated modem-neutral Ethernet back-up option, along with dial back-up as standard. The new terminal also incorporates an improved sleek ergonomic design, and has a new advanced thermal printer delivering faster print speeds.
Fully compatible with ExaDigm's current range of interchangeable modems, the XD2100SP supports IP (Ethernet), WiFi, CDMA, GSM, Bluetooth˘ç and dial-up connections, and is preconfigured to support a series of new, advanced, multifunction modems scheduled for release in the first quarter of this year.

Currently in production, the XD2100SP will be commercially available for purchase in the first quarter of, 2007. Due to an overwhelming demand for this new product, ExaDigm is currently accepting advanced purchase orders.
