SANTA ANA, CA and SUNRISE, FL - April 11, 2006, ExaDigm, Inc., the leading innovator of wireless and wired point-of-sale (POS) terminal solutions, and JR's POS Depot, one of the payment industry's largest independent distributors, today announced the formation of a Strategic Partnership between the two companies. This new partnership will see JR's POS Depot offering the XD2000 Cellular Wireless Solution as the wireless point-of-sale solution of choice to their key channels, specifically the merchant acquiring industry.
Through this partnership, JR's POS Depot will now have the ability to offer the most comprehensive wireless POS solution available on the market today. The XD2000 Cellular Wireless Solution features a fully modular design and PC-based Linux operating system giving users the ability to change wireless connectivity between CDMA/1XRTT and GSM/GPRS with the simple swap of a modem. In addition, with full VISA CISP validation and 256-bit SSL encryption at the time of card swipe, the XD2000 Cellular Wireless Solution offers the highest level of security available with any POS terminal on the market today.
